Matteo Garrone’s ‘Io Capitano’ Wins Italian Film Awards
The Oscar-nominated refugee drama took best film at the 2024 David Di Donatello Awards, Italy's top film honor
Matteo Garrone's movie, which was as well the Oscar nominee for this past edition for Italy, has won the main awards at the David Di Donatello cerimony which took place in Rome on Friday.
The movie rightfully earned the awards for Best Film, Best Director and Best Producer, among others.
