After Mr. Rose, the genius of Roses's Manure Company, dies in a freak accident, his daughter Rosemary (Leoni) takes over. She is against a slick talking competitor (MacLachlan) who wants to take over the industry, only to battle with Rose Manure's best sales rep Patrick Fitzpatrick (Thornton).
