CDC United Network is very proud to announce the recent acquisition of a brand new package of great titles including The Lincoln Lawyer with Matthew McConaughey, the Joel Schumacher directed Trespass with Nicole Kidman and Nicolas Cage, Catch .44 starring Bruce Willis and Salvation Boulevard with Pierce Brosnan, Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Conneley and Marisa Tomei.

One For The Money: in Theatres in US!
One For The Money, starring Katherine Heigl and based on the Janet Evanovich’s bestselling novel, was released in US on 27 January. Took in $11.9 million in its first weekend, after opening in second position on its first Friday and ending up in 3rd place for the full weekend.
It is now holding strong in its second weekend between 5th and 6th position with a solid per screen average of $2,736 and has now surpassed the $20 million mark at the box office after just 10 days. It is estimated that it will now gross a total of $32 - $35 million at the US box office.

CDC is presenting at Mipcom a comedy and family movies
Brussels, 10th September 2010 – CDC United Network will be presenting at Mipcom “Shortcut To Happiness”, a comedy with ALEC BALDWIN, ANTHONY HOPKINS and JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT.
Directed and played by ALEC BALDWIN, “Shortcut To Happiness”, tells the story of an unsuccessful writer who sells his soul to the Devil (played by JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT) in exchange of fame and fortune. He will meet a publisher (played by ANTHONY HOPKINS) who offers him a chance to break the contract.
CDC will also launch a new family movie “For The Love of A Dog” which tells the true story of a family and friends to save a beloved Golden Retriever. Straight from the Cannes Film Festival CDC acquires “Sammy’s Adventures 2”
At the Cannes Film Festival CDC United Network was one of the first international distributors to pick up the highly anticipated sequel to Sammy’s Adventures, Sammy’s Adventures 2. The film is currently in production and footage will be available at the upcoming MIPCOM. ‘Based on the huge success we have had with this film and the tremendous reaction from our buyers, we felt we had to step in early and pick up the sequel before the first picture is even released. All of our theatrical distributors feel this is going to be one of their top films of the year so we felt we could not miss out on the sequel’ says Erik Jensen, Managing Director of CDC.
CDC also acquired all rights to one of the hottest projects in Cannes, ONE FOR THE MONEY, an action comedy with KATHERINE HEIGL. Brussels, 25th August 2009 - CDC will promote in Cannes “The No Sit List”, a brand new family movie.

CDC will offer “Fame” and “Puss’N Boots” at the L.A. Screenings
Brussels, 21st April 2009 – CDC United Network will unveil, at the LA Screenings, a remake of the successful 1980, “Fame” and the animated feature “The True Story of Puss’N Boots”.
A reinvention of the original Oscar®-winning hit film, "Fame" follows a talented group of dancers, singers, actors, and artists over four years at the New York City High School of Performing Arts, a creative powerhouse where students from all walks of life are given a chance to live out their dreams and achieve real and lasting fame. The cast include Kelsey Grammer and Debbie Allen. The movie will be released in theater in the USA by United Artists and MGM on September 2009.
CDC United Network will also be presenting “The True Story of Puss’s N Boots”, a free adaptation of Charles Perrault's tale which was recently released theatrically in France and will receive its Mexican Theatrical release in September 2009. The story revolves around a young miller who inherits a strange cat that speaks and wears boots of magical power. CDC United Network announces new acquisitions for MIPTV
Brussels, 27th March 2009 – CDC United Network announces the acquisitions of 2 new titles. “Lower Learning”, an outrageous comedy starring Jason Biggs and Desparate Housewifes’ Eva Longoria Parker, as well as the Sundance award winning documentary “The September Issue”, based on the famous “Vogue” editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour.
In the hilarious comedy “Lower Learning”, Eva Longoria Parker is an inspector who arrives to shut down an Elementary school, where the teachers are drunk, lazy or psychotic. She and the burned-out Vice Principal (Jason Biggs) hatch a plan to take back the classrooms from insanely corrupt Principal Billings.
"The September Issue" grants the viewer previously unprecented access to the making of Vogue’s most important issue of the year: The September issue. CDC United Network Closes Several Significant Packages Prior to MIPTV.
Brussels, 23rd March 2009 – Prior to the start of MIPTV CDC United Network announced that it has closed multiple deals for its movies catalog with television stations across Latin America.
CDC closed a 50 pictures deal in Honduras with titles such as the KEVIN COSTNER and DEMI MOORE thriller “Mr. Brooks”, “Chaos” with JASON STATHAM, WESLEY SNIPES and RYAN PHILIPPE, “Diamond Dogs” with DOLPH LUNDGREN and “D- War”, a special effects packed action movie. Plus family titles such as, “Finn On The Fly”, “The Bracelet of Bordeaux”, “Air Buddies”, and “Bibi Blocksberg”.
TV stations in Panama, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela and Uruguay also acquired important movies package with titles including “Man About Town” (with BEN AFFLECK), “Stormbreaker” (with MICKEY ROURKE and EWAN MCGREGOR) and “Alpha Dog” (starring BRUCE WILLIS and JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE).

In this movie, RYAN GOSLING is an idealistic inner-city high school teacher with a drug habit, who stumbles into an unexpected friendship with one of his student.
At MIPTV, CDC United Network will also launch the action-movie “Nitro”, set in the world cars racer, and the multi award winning “Black Book”, the last PAUL VERHOEVN movie relating the story of a Jewish singer infiltrates in the regional Gestapo headquarters for the Dutch resistance.

CDC UNITED NETWORK Unveils Prestigious Movies at Natpe
Brussels, 15th December 2008 – The thriller “Mr. Brooks”, with Kevin Costner, Demi Moore and William Hurt, and the comedy “The Matador” with Pierce Brosnan and Greg Kinnear are some of the top theatrical new movies that CDC United Network will present in Las Vegas.
“Mr Brooks” portrays a successful business man (Costner) who leads a double life as a serial killer haunted by the voice of his alter ego inside his head which prevents him from leaving his life of crime. A beautiful detective (Demi Morre) investigates the case. The film was an international hit grossing over $50 million in worldwide Box Office.
In “The Matador”, a traveling salesman (Kinnear) accidentally meets up with a hit man (Brosnan), in a bar, and their subsequent evening together intertwines their lives in an unexpected, but lasting bond.
Another title that CDC will offer at Natpe is the romantic comedy, “Suburban Girl”, based in New York and starring the wonderful Sarah Michelle Gellar and the very talented Alec Baldwin.

CDC United Network handles the Azteca Cine’s catalog
Brussels, 3th June 2008 - CDC United Network distributes the television, dvd and theatrical rights in Latin America of the movies acquired recently by Azteca Cine.
The agreement between the two companies included superproductions like “Breach”, a thriller with Ryan Philippe and Chris Cooper, “I’m Not There” (nominaded at the Oscars for the best Actress in a Supporting Role for Cate Blanchett) which relates the life of the pop-folk singer Bob Dylan played by six different actors (Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Heath Ledger...) and the comedy “Man About Town” with Ben Affleck and Rebecca Romijn.
CDC United Network will also promote “Charlie Bartlett”, a comedy with Robert Downey Jr. and “Suburban Girls”, a romance between a book editor (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and an influential older man (Alec Baldwin).
“Married Life”, a 1940-set drama with Pierce Brosnan and Chris Cooper where an adulterous man plots his wife’s death instead of putting her through the humiliation of a divorce, and the action movie “The Empire of the Wolves” with Jean Reno will be also distributed by CDC.

Ace Ventura J.R and Annie, the Nanny are coming to LA!
Brussels, 17th April 2008 – CDC United Network will launch at the LA Screenings two brand new family movies, “Ace Ventura J.R” and “Annie, the Magical Nanny”. The CDC’s catalog also included action titles like “Chaos”, “Breach” and the comedy “Man About Town”.
In “Ace Ventura Junior”, the son of Ace Ventura follows in his father's hilarious footsteps by becoming a pet detective for the 7th-grade set. The young boy tracks a stolen baby panda after his mother's wrongly arrested for the crime.
“Annie The Magical Nanny” relates the adventures of Annie, an adorable chimpanze who has lived with an old man until he passes away. The animal is forced to run away. Through a series of comedic events, Annie became the new Comox family nanny. She will take care of three troublemakers children.

CDC with prestigious first run at Natpe 2008
Brussels, 5th December 2007 – At Las Vegas, CDC United Network will launch “Chaos”, a brand new super production action movie with Wesley Snipes, Jason Statham and Ryan Philippe.
“Chaos” begins when a gang of criminals get away from a robbery with … nothing. Determined to solve the riddle, the cops follow a trail that leads into right into the heart of the Seattle police force.
CDC will also promote “Breach”, a thriller based on a true story. Eric ONeill is an FBI employee assigned to go undercover right in the Bureau offices to gather evidence on Robert Hanssen. This one is a long time FBI agent selling information to the Russians, and the FBI is on to him, but need more information to make an arrest.
“Diamond Dogs”, an action movie with Dolph Lundgren which relates the story of a group of American fortune hunters, who come to China looking for a long-lost-treasure, is also part of the new offer of the company.
CDC United Network will also present the new production of Morgan Creek International, “Sydney White”, a teenage comedy played by Amanda Bynes. This modern retelling of the classic fairytale follows a beautiful college freshman as she pledges her late mother's once dignified sorority. But after discovering that today's sisterhood is not what it used to be, Sydney finds her new home away from home with seven outcasts.
